Authors describe the case of patient with duodenal obstruction, coused by compression of the third part of duodenum by superior mesenteric artery so called, superior mesenteric artery syndrome (SAMS). They describe clinical course off illness and the way of surgical treatment. In disscussion they describe ethiology, dignostical course, clinical picture and surgical management patient with SAMS.
