Breast manifestations of systemic diseases

Systemic diseases are manifested in the breast very rarely and compared with primary breast cancer very low attention is given them. Though their clinical expression in breast and radiological images can cause many questions and correct diagnosis is often confirmed only by biopsy. Among the systemic diseases with possible breast manifestation are the most common vascular, endocrine, systematic inflammatory, infectious, and hematologic diseases.
